Question about studio equipment and name rights.

I've decided to use N-Track Studio combined with Gold Wave. I'm going to get some equipment this weekend (MD recorder, mixer board, etc). All I need are microphones. I'm on a budget. Does anyone know where a good-quality microphone can be found that is not over $100? I'm also looking for an accessible mixer board that is cheap and has a lot of channels. What's your recommendation? Another thing, can I just name my studio what I want? I want to call it Frances Langford Productions. I'm naming it after my favorite singer and my hero, Frances Langford, who entertained the troops with Bob Hope during WWII. Do I have to get copyrights or something to get the name?
